emmanuel isn't known for that kind of consistency. He knocked down Marquez 3 times in the 1st round, but we all know how that turned out.

Do people really hate on Hatton all that much? I mean he was pretty one dimensional and all, but I figured more credit was given to Pac, rather than discredit to Hatton after that KO.

edit: same thing with PW, I think as well

Hatton was a little over rated. He got to the top by Frank Warren feeding him bums and left overs, until Tszyu, and Tszyu just happened to have got old for that fight. So it was like the perfect storm type of situation. Many people felt Hatton was over rated, and couldn't wait for him to get exposed. Collazo exposed him, but didn't get the decision. Mayweather beat the crap out of him. He then went and almost got KO'd by lightweight Juan Lazcano, except the ref intervened on Hatton's behalf, calling time out, and letting him get his shoe tied when he was in dire straights about to get KO'd. Then the guy gets his face beat in by Pacquaio.

Williams, is a little over rated in my opinion also. Not as much as Hatton, but Williams technical flaws were exposed because his handlers were dumb asses that thought a guy with the frame of a featherweight, would be able to take middleweight punches flush. Had Williams never been moved up to 160, many people would still be singing his praises, for his action style of fighting, while eating flush shots, because he wouldn't have been brutally KO'd like that. Williams best wins, are also better than Hatton's best wins. If you are looking at winning resumes.

An idiot who doesn't know how to score boxing might argue that, yes.

Because...Williams is a better fighter than Hatton and Martinez has far less fan fare than Pacquiao.
