Mike Jones is a black version of Ortiz except he's more skilled and probably has more brains

No...but I don't think anyone except PBF, might be able to do that. The way I see it (Manny or PBF) is that no one is going to out perform them in the things they do well (Manny speed/workrate/etc, or PBF speed/skillset/defense/etc) so when looking at a potential opponent, I want to see them fight guys who bring their own exceptional gifts such as Jones or Berto's physical tools, Khans speed/size combo, Paul Williams height and work rate, etc. Not that any of these guys would beat them, because the chances are no one does. At the very least they bring something "exceptional" to the table that could POSSIBLY offset some of the gifts (of Manny/PBF) these guys have. Jones brings a unique mix of size, speed, power, and skill that would at least allow someone to believe the possibility is there for him to do something amazing, same with Khan, same with Williams, and the other guys who may fall into this category.

But personally, I believe they should fight someone who's been tested on top of what you said. This guy has not beaten anyone that would have him be considered as a possible opponent for either Floyd or Manny IMO.

I don't disagree with the untested part, he's not "proven", I conceed that. In terms of the hindsight ****, that's going to happen regardless, not saying it's right or wrong, it just is. I'm only speaking for myself, I think it would be fun to see Manny fight Khan, Jones, Berto, or Williams for the reason I referenced before. That being said, I'd like to see PBF fight Khan, Jones, Berto, or Williams as well...there are other guys who probably belong in this list as well, these just immediately jump out.

I agree, I don't consider him a legit threat...yet. If forced into the situation, I think he could hold his own, but I agree and believe in guys like Bradley who has "earned" his shot, I have no problem with him getting his opportunity.

He seems to be pretty ****ing good, he's huge, skilled, and has some definite gifts that would lead one to believe he could be special. That doesn't really mean **** in terms of how he'll turn out, but I think he's a super prospect on the cusp of busting through to the "next level".

It would be a HUGE jump for Jones to face Pac. He simply isn't ready yet.

The guy gasses, so he needs to work on his overall endurance.
