Do you know how big berto is. Lol and he's faster than pac. I say he takes pacs head off before the sixth. That right hand ain't nothin to play with. Being that pacs a southpaw he'll catch it often.. But if he doesn't. Pac would probably get the decision on workrate. I think berto would eat pacs shots.

Let Berto live up to his name as the southp[aw killer by avenging his loss to OTREEZ first, then we can talk about pacquaio the amigo.

Would rather see Berto against Floyd.

I think Berto's speed and power would give Floyd something to think about.

Because Manny's team wants Manny to be the fastest, the strongest, and the most capable fighter in the ring. Of the undefeated African-American fighters (Mayweather, Bradley, and at one time Berto) Manny could've selected, he selected Tim Bradley. His promoter threw Berto's name out there after the Margarito fight. He said that Pac has been fighting larger men for a while so it's time for him to fight someone his size like Andre Berto. This is what he said at the post fight presser. 2 weeks later, Berto went out there and pancaked Freddy Hernandez inside of 1 round, then they decided to go after Shane Mosley because it was 'all about the benjamins' so we know what that really meant.

Once Freddie Roach called Berto's outing 'impressive', I knew they would never give him the shot. It's sad that Pac (and I truly believe he's not the blame), who WAS the P4P king at the time, wasn't willing to step up and do a unification bout with Berto. They made it seem as if no one knew Berto. They made it seem that no one knew Bradley. Bob Arum cold shitted on Bradley saying he couldn't sell out his livingroom. All of this had taken place between the Margarito and Mosley fights when B-Hop made the slick black boxer comment about Pacquiao. They shitted on Berto, they shitted on Bradley, and they waited Marquez out in order to book Mosley. The trend has been set and we know what to expect from that camp. We expect to seek out the weakest link.

I don't know which way they will go for the next fight but the circus has run out of clowns. Whichever way they go, it's going to be a tough outing. I can't count them out though. I feel that they will find another wounded animal to overwhelm or they will seek out someone who doesn't have the power to short circuit the KO prone Pacman.

Bottom line, Pacquiao isn't going to fight Berto. Pac could've handed Berto his first loss but he decided to let that honor go to Victor Ortiz. He'd go after Ortiz since he's gotten knocked out as well as having his jaw broken. He'd do that fight I'm sure.

Berto will be 29 in September and I think he's already on the downside of his career. He has never progressed like he should've. His defense has gotten worse, he takes way too much punishment. I thought Pacquiao beat Bradley, and Berto is an easier challenge for Pacquiao than Bradley. Pacquiao's best bet is to rematch Cotto at JMW. They can fight for some sort of made up WBC belt.
