To answer the thread, Pac's unlikely to fight Berto because TR is unlikely to match Pac against a non TR controlled fighter, plain and simple.

Pac would dust Berto. This coming from a big Berto fan.

Why not indeed. I'd buy it. I think Pac still has the stuff to take it but it would be fun to watch Berto try an catapult himself 4 or 5 steps up the ladder.

Pac has avoided black fighters throughout his career... (Mosley, Clottey, and Bradley were Polish fighters wearing war paint). Pac dont want none of Berto!!!!! TRUST!

Berto is a halfway decent boxer with good power. Many "No Risk" Pacquiao avoids risks at all costs. Berto is a risk. That is why we will never see Pacquiao/Berto intell Berto gets old and lose 2 steps.

    On paper this makes sense.

But to be fair, the Ortiz that beat Berto was the best of all possible Ortizesesessss...

Yep. Like mentioned earlier, Ortiz-Berto II should happen first.

    I don't get it. :huh

We agree that the Ortiz that beat Berto was way better than the Ortiz that lost to Floyd or Josecito or whoever.

My point was that taking into consideration that which we've already agreed upon (^^^), there's little or no shame in Berto's loss to him and thus Berto might be a reasonable fight for Pacquiao to take.

    And your point is?

Thats the best Ortiz your going to see, and again Berto couldnt beat him, meaning if he can not beat that Ortiz no way does he beat Pacquiao or Mayweather or Bradley for that matter if he cant find a way to get past the very best Victor Ortiz he is not going very far, and I wont just say that IMHO Collazo beat his ass to.
