Let me start off by saying I'm not a Pac fan... yet I do like watching him fight. More of a Mayweather fan, from a pure artistic perspective... that being said, Pac's life is reminding me of a Rocky 5... he's got a trainer who loves him like a son, a physical conditioning coach who I believe really cares about him... why haven't they done more to protect Manny from a lot of the BS he's been going through. None of this success is going to matter if he doesn't come out well AFTER boxing... I like the guy and it bugs me that with such good dudes around him they can't figure out a way to straighten his **** out... My analytical mind tells me Arum/Koncz have info on Pac to blackmail him with whether it's his adulterous flings or whatever it is, but for whatever reason it seems like something must be there that he won't send these dudes their walking papers... I understand needing a promoter and all that, but ****.. the writing is on the wall if you read enough of the turmoil that's going on... Hope those around who really care can stand tall with him and fix it.. but something tells me he's in a serious catch 22... Smart move would be to talk to Floyd about how he got away from Arum, and offer Floyd a much bigger split on the fight in exchange for the help leaving Top Rank... he'd still make more money.
...Floyd had a "buyout" option in his contract-I don't think Pacquiao has this option.. Arum and Koncz needa make this fight-Pac should fight Floyd or retire.....Whatever the case, its been 2 years and Arum and team have made up every excuse not to fight Floyd- Time to fight Floyd and face the truth...but Arum doesn't want too cuz he wants to milk his cash cow.
roach is just the trainer, roach does what he can. Koncz is a piece of ****, he talked pac into lowering roach's payment he got for one of the fights by 200k, I forget which one but this was a while ago.
