Why doesn't Showtime want to show Bute vs Froch?

U think they definitely wanted Dirrell in there that might be the reason. But to still nite show the fight? Showtime has always been about showing good matches regardless of who the fighters were what division they were in ect. Them turning down this fight is exactly what Showtime is NOT known for.

I think they are not interested in Bute-Froch, since Ward beat Froch
already and Ward is the home boy. No point to show somethings which
is not of the interest of people in US and will not bring any significant revenue.

Not sure but they signed Bute to a 3 fight deal right before Ward vs Froch so they obviously hagenuk interest in him and Froch is probably better known here then Dirrell.

They just signed Bute to a deal what was there plan? For him to fight 3 Americans in a euro infested division? A fight with Dirrell isn't gonna be an bigger in the states at least Bute vs Froch would be huge in the UK, Canada and Romania.

If you have nothing smart to say don't say anything at all.

Maybe they'll buy the fight outside of Bute's current contract then show it on delay to support another card.

They are so far up in Ward's ass they can actually see God at the end of the tunnel.

You don't see a trend? Maybe you're the one not smart enough.

Showtime wanted Bute to fight Dirrell and now they are trying to get Taylor on that date in another tune-up (Haymon already turned down world beater Alcine).

Wake up and go **** yourself.

The fight may be as big as it is promoted.
I bet the stadium in UK will be full as always when their home turf
guy is fighting for a title ... otherwise they would both be fighting in Vegas.

The times are not easy for boxing and they probably think there
would be not enough buys in US for this fight to cover the purses.

Bute has one fight left on his Showtime deal, they signed him to fight the SS winner.

So they signed Bute just for Haymen so his fighters could beat him?

No problem,Epix will step up to the plate in the US.In Quebec they will make the locals pay through the nose on PPV.The rest of Canada could care less.

Thought he had 2 left? If indeed he only has one fight then the thread is over. That's the answer they are saving the last fight of his contract for a Ward fight..... But what if he loses? Might as well show the fight and make whatever money they can because if he loses to Froch then its a complete lose.
