I have asked myself this for a few years now, and I think Zab Judah would be a beast @ 140.....I think he could Blast Hatton & Malinaggi @ 140

but for some reason he thinks he can beat the TOP WW's out there....:-(

Zab would beat any 140 with the exception of Hatton and possibly Witter (unless Junior chokes again).

Against Hatton you need to be on your guard for the full duration of the fight - can anyone seriously say that Zab has done that recently?

It would be a huge step down.

Zab was the former linear champion at WW, and why move down when all the big fights are at 147. I dont see him moving down to 140 unless Hatton offers him the fight straight up.

What leads people to believe that Zab wouldn't find a way to lose a big fight at 140? Let's not forget that he's also got alot of wear and tear on him. The Cotto fight alone was enough to ruin his career and you know Mosley's not gonna play pitty-pat with him. If he ever did move back down to 140 (highly unlikely) he'd probably find himself in tough against a more seasoned Witter in a rematch and against Hatton who would be applying non-stop pressure. He's got that uppercut but you can gameplan to avoid it.

Yup. He basically shuts down. Punch count drops and the survival instinct kicks in.

What if Torres landed a right hand on Zab? Baldomir, who is not a huge puncher, hurt Zab badly and put him right into survival mode.

Torres can crack. That might be all it takes against Zab.
