Why don’t British Heavyweights call out Martin Bakole?

I hope this year brings Martin some big fights and we get a chance to see his true position in the division.

I'd say Bakole vs Dubois or Joyce would be perfect of not Bakole vs Zhang that would be awesome with the most to gain as well.

 

It answered a few questions for me but also posed a few. He dealt with Takam better than other top heavies did, but looked out of condition. He has been inactive. Hes there or thereabouts for a title shot. Needs to start 2024 with a fight. Early. Any of the Saudi winners would do. AJ is not afraid of him but wont fight him because hes already earned a Fury fight if Fury emerges victorious against Usyk. But thats going to take 18 months.
Id like to see Bakole vs Zhang. The battle of the avoided, out in the cold old heavyweights. With Bakole in better condition this time. On the next Saudi show.

 

Hadn't seen this post before posting mine. Joyce needs a warm up and I dont think Duboius would want him yet. Too dangerous at the moment.
He puts Joyce into retirement though if that happens after Joes warm up win.

 

Bakole or Dubois? Still not too sure Dubois beats Joyce, he looked good against Miller but Joyce is still better than Miller as long as he holds a shot that well.

 

I think I might have worded wrong mate. Im saying Bakole would retire Joe. Not sure about Dubois/ Joyce return but gun to head id slightly favour Dubois. Zhang nit done Joe any good.

 

Bakole would be a great fight, If Bakole doesn't tank in the later rounds then he might get the win. Hard to say without seeing where Joyce is at after the Zhang losses. Certainly no one would be giving Bakole a chance if Zhang didn't make Joyce look vulnerable in their fights.

Nobody mate? Not me. After Hunter beat him he was accused of bottling it and lacking heart and nobody rated him. After that hes been like Joyce and been on a good little run. Never bought it that Joe was impervious to punishment. Nobody is. Not saying I picked Zhang to beat him. I didn't but nor did hardly anybody else either.
Id have always called Bakole and Joe as a 50 50. AFTER Hunter.

 

He said on the general forum that he was banned from the British forum yet still decided to post on here anyway haha.

I'm not on the Bakole bandwagon like a lot of others are, but he is in a good position to push forward for a title shot this year. Can't say I see him beating any top 10 fighter though in all honesty, he barely beat Sergey Kuzmin who's like a slightly better Russian version of Nathan Gorman.
