why dont all trainers use Freddie Roach's method of sparring?

Freddie Roach wasn't the first to do it. I know Emannuel Steward did it for Lennox Lewis. In fact I think a rumour years ago about Lennox being knocked down and Steward actually had to fork out the money. Cus D'Amato and Ronny, both Mike Tyson's trainers did it. In fact I remember a young Oliver McCall dropped Tyson in an open sparring match. I also believe Angelo Dundee did it on Ali's request. Ali was known to spar loads of different fighters including up and comers.
Carl Froch also spar's against young up and comers. He sparred against George Groves (UK ABA champion) for his fight against Taylor. He also did it for Pascal....but it kinda back fired with a fighter actually breaking his ribs
So Freddie wasn't the first, its just that its been made more open due to 24/7
