Football and Basketball are more popular. Also, a lot of black kids dont fight or make it their priority to fight anymore. People are used to clapping those guns and using those to get their point across.

What about the part of Collapse of Iron Curtain? Collapse of Soviet Union, freedom for these ex Eastern Block countries. Freedom to TURN PRO which was BANNED back in the day. I dbout your people even know about these things. you live you see you hear but you really dont see or hear.:yep

    They're in other sports.
    They're not black enough.
    Boxing clubs are shutting down.
    Boxings not popular enough.
    Boxing doesn't pay enough.
It's at a low point in the cycle.
    The prospects are in prison.

    Pick your excuse.

Lets take an example: Seth Mitchell.

This guy is undefeated and a borderline top 15-20 Heavyweight.

How did he get in to boxing?

He was a collegiate linebacker for Michigan State. He was pretty good, perhaps top 20 linebacker in the country.

He suffered a career-ending knee injury. Cannot play football anymore. Knees shot.

He takes up boxing, with shot knees and in his 20's. He is now a borderline top 15-20 heavyweight.

    To recap:

collegiate linebacker, career-ending knee injury, picks up boxing, and is now a successful professional boxer with a step-up fight soon against Timor Ibragimov.

    um, you do the math.

The top black athletes are making millions playing football and basketball which are by far the most popular sports in America.

Do you genuinely think everyone are masters Right away?

Pro boxing is still relatively young sport at Easter European and it is only getting bigger. I am sure this is just a beginning.

Since Lennox Lewis came it has been all European. Even thou Lennox is Jamaican :rasta

There is an element of truth to the "in other sports", when heavyweight boxers were usually around 5'11-6'2 and around 200lbs, those sort of people were less likely to take up boxing.
But now that the top boxers are often 6'5-6'7, people in that category are much more likely to play basketball or american football when they are young.

most of the best basketball playing countries arent good at heavyweight boxing (spain, argentina, greece, lithuania, turkey italy, serbia, australia and china)

all american super heavy's are in other sports that are easier, pay more on average (aside from the HW champ) and are more lucrative to make a living doing with less risk. Imagine Dwight Howard boxing, holy ****....for some reason I bet Lebron has a glass chin though but Dwight would be an absolute beast. A young Shaq? ****!!
