He is stupid. He thought that he will provoke him, he wasn't hurt at all. Very limited boxer, lost in bad style.

I agree in general terms, most boxers would be well-served to embrace the strategy and ignore the stupid taboo around it - but in this particular case I don't know that a knee would have been of much aid to Korobov. He was pretty much done after that right hook.

When you are getting hit in the head you don't have the luxury of thinking straight, usually. Besides, only a p uss y kneels down voluntarily in front of his opponent

Calzaghe knew how to take a knee the instant he got tagged hard.

I think its something fighters should train for until it's instinct to do so.

Miguel Cotto is a master at this. He did it against Manny and Marg.

When you see a boxer get waived off and stopped while taking a calculated knee you realize why its not done more often.

Watch cotto vs corley for an example.

Shouldn't be allowed to take a knee. Its basically saying you quit.

Actually in no way shape or form does it say that. It says the opposite, actually. It says you want to preserve yourself for a few seconds to give yourself a shot to come back and win. If someone wants to quit, they just ...you know...quit.
