because casamayor still holds a flimsy ring title? that's run by osacar, who coincidentally is partially in charge of casamayor's career? grow up. the ring title does not mean much now. specially not at 135 when it was defended it twice in two years?

there is a difference between everyone saying a boxer is the best in a division, and that boxer going out there and proving it in the ring. When Floyd beat Baldomir and Zab at Welter, that's pretty much what he did. Everyone was saying he was the best welterweight anyways, but he went out there and proved it in the ring. You can't consider yourself the man in a division until you have done the latter.

and so if JMM beats casamayor, will he be the man at 135 even though he beat a fighter who is a bit past his prime and even though jmm only has one fight at 135?

Give me your definition of undisputed, then I will give you my answer about who the best is.

I don't want to be an ass......, I"ll give you a hint....

Wrong. The vast majority was saying that Floyd beat the weakest welterweight in history....ever.... Baldomir is the weakest welterweight champion ever......

undisputed, for me means holding wba, wcb, wbo, and ibf. ring is just icing. if it's tehre, then cool, if not, so what? so i think if pac-nate gets made, then the winner should be called undisputed.

I disagree. You can't be undisputed by just defeating one guy.... Does it make sense to you?

not really. defeating a guy with all the gold IMO definitely makes you undisputed, becasue no one else can claim they are the world champ in that division. it doesn't matter if you beat four guys holding one belt each or if you ebat a guy holding all the four belts. whe no one else holds a world championship belt at that weight other than you, then you are undisputed

I dont know about the best fighter, but JMM will be the lineal champ. I think he can beat pac and nate, but loses to Diaz and 50/50 with guzman.

Sorry, but I disagree with you....when you beat them all....then you can call yourself undisputed...beating one man doesn't make you the best.
