True...mosts of the time it's not effective, but most southpaws are not as aggressive and active as PAC....DLH will look for the Left hook and will be trading with PAC hoping to catch him with the left. Which is why I think the fight ends with one of those famous left hooks from Oscars arsenal.

I swear, most of those Philippine sports news reporters are ******s when it comes to boxing. Most of them dont even cover live fights. :-(

There's only less than 5 Philippine boxing news writers I respect, and that idiot Roy Luarca isnt one of them.

    :patsch

Agree. And using Pacland as a source? :patsch I also hope to slap the **** out of my brother. He claims Pac can beat a DLH because Oscar is old. Stupid.

If ever I see more and more of these kinds of stupid sports news articles and stupid Pacman threads in the coming weeks, I think I'll stop posting here in the general forum again, and I'm not gonna defend Pacman misquotes and innacurate stories anymore.

    Jeez..

Adding weight is obviously going to improve his punch power. It wouldnt suprise me if he could knock out a heavyweight if he landed a good punch. just because ur big doesnt mean u take a punch well. Dont scientists say it only takes 6lb of pressuer to render someone unconscious

It would increase his power. But he is fighting a guy who has fought bigger guys and harder punchers than Pacquiao.

i'm not one to think that it aint possible.....i mean, if it's one clean ass shot while a big person is just standing there, then i can definately see that happening....

i think that's the difference though....do i think he can lay out a heavyweight in a real boxing match, **** no......do i think he can knock out a 200pound person if he hits him dry, **** YES.....but that goes for anybody, not just him......

I'm not saying he's gonna win. I didn't read the article. I just dont like people thinking little guys can't punch or even knock out a bigger guy. Oscar has power, skill & intelligence but if either fighter gets sloppy & gets caught they could get ko'd
