Why don't people bring up that Canelo was pre prime when he fought GGG in the 1st and 2nd fight. Especially the first one?

Because Canelo had already been unified LMW champ, had already been lineal MW champ, and had fought more fights than Golovkin and had been fighting for longer than Golovkin.

Golovkin was just better than him that night.

GGG and Canelo are 2 very good boxers who are very evenly matched if I had to pick the better fighter of the 2 I would probably go with GGG as I do think Canelo had the advantage in all 3 fights due to age a real shame the first fight did not take place a few years earlier but maybe I am wrong and Canelo's younger age works against him but I think by the time the first fight took place Canelo had more than enough bouts under his belt by then for age/experience not to be an issue. I also do not think Canelo has got a whole lot better since the first fight I think the biggest improvement we have seen from him is that he is fighting at a more natural weight the guy might be short but he is built like a tank so he looks a whole lot better and some people take this as more skills when it is just that he in not killing himself to make weight anymore so his body can perform better.

He was prime starting around 2015, so this is a silly OP.

He was in his prime when he fought GOLOVKIN in 2017 and had alot of experience at that time. He wasnt a green fighter if thats what youre getting at.

    27-32 is prime male beef.

Although some fighters gain a little toughness in their later 30's through battle hardening like Ali did, at a loss to other attributes.
