We all saw the fight, some agree that cotto won, some think Mosely won (including me), apart from all of that it was a really really close fight so the judges cards have to be respected, but why isint there much talk about a possible rematch between these two ? It either gotta be because Cotto dosent want to take the chance of getting beat if they fight again (since the first fight was so close) or maybe because hes looking for bigger things like the winner of Hatton/Mayweather or maybe Williams, Or is it because Mosley at this Stage of his carrer is not at point were we should be looking for rematches, instead should be looking to beat some big name fighter and retire. I honestly think that a rematch is deserved, but i dont see much hype about it.
Because everyone wants to see Cotto fight Mayweather provided Floyd gets past Hatton, and it looks like Shane's boss Oscar may get a crack at Cotto anyway instead of a Cotto-Mosley rematch.
I though Oscar said he wont fight Puertorican fighters cause his wife dosent want him to because shes is puertorican herself, i guess thats out the window.
The fans aren't saying much about the rematch because the players themselves haven't shown a lot of interest. Cotto can make as much money fighting easier opponents, so you can see why he isn't overly enthusiastic.
Cause its unlikely giving that Arum wants Cotto-Margarito and Mayweather,DLH or Cintron-Williams are out there.
Cause there are so many more match ups out there to be made. I would have no problem with a rematch and I would pay to see it again but I would rather see Cotto take on the other top guys, Williams, Margarito, mayweather etc.
