Why don't people want to see the winner of Cotto vs Canelo fight GGG next?

    Because Canelo is Golden Boy and Oscar isn't going to sacrifice his cash cow again, it's really as simple as that.

    Because that would legitimize GGG and make him an instant star, the attention he's gets now gets under their skin so much its almost unbearable to them, now imagine how much he'll get when he stops the post Pac/May most marketable guy in the sport. They'll go off the deep end.

    I haven't seen Canelo duck anybody yet so I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think the boxers themselves today are paying more attention to business than before, one of Floyds legacies, and will try to make the most money with the least risk. I don't like it but I can't say that I blame them. And lets face it, I don't think either of these guys relishes a fight with GGG. They will ask for the moon and if GGG wants a fight with one of them he will probably have to take short money and that is bad business for him. I think if Canelo wins he will fight GGG, Cotto, I doubt it but I hope so

    Probably because they are fanboys scared that once Triple G actually step up he might not be able to fight. No one actually know how good he really is. I mean he has feasted on cans pretty much his entire career.

    I genuinely can't believe there's any boxing fans who wouldn't want to see it. A guaranteed action fight which would establish the best Middleweight in the world? It doesn't get much better.

    Only idiots don't see how good he is. Boxers and trainers have no doubts about that. For example, after the Lemieux fight, Lara suddenly changed his mind about fighting Golovkin at 160 and found plenty of good opportunities at 154. Canelo and DLH know how good GGG is, so one talks about 155 and the other one says that GGG is not next.

    P.S. I would love to see that fight at 160, but would be fine with 158. If Canelo wants to fight at 155, he needs to drop the belt and then make a good offer for a fight at 155.

    There's no chance whatsoever that Cotto or Canelo v GGG would be a bad fight. Even if they fight in a technical style, there's still going to be a lot of heavy shots landed because they all like to throw combinations and use their offense to discourage their opponents.

    This would easily be one of the top 5 fights I'd love to see happen.

    Triple G fans in denial, per usual. He can agree to Canelo's demands or forget about a money fight. We know he's not chasing greatness because he refused to fight SOB Ward. He won't even fight Lara. Why is Triple Duck avoiding elite, slick fighters?

    And to answer the topic, I think mostly people want to see that fight tbh. Just Cotto and Canelo don't. Oh, and Oscar.
