Techniques don't change much the refinement of the technique does and its the fighter that counts that's determines the techniques and how good they are. Primo Carnera was a mope compared to the likes of the klitchkos/Lewis and Joshua ...really most post 60's Hw's if we are talking for real. Lets not not get twilight zonish here though in your case you seem to thrive on it ?

No one fights like Louis anymore because they would get knocked out cold, this would happen because in todays game you have to actually move and keep your guard up unless you are over 6'4 . Times don't change ? yet few barely even utilized a simple jab properly until the 1950's. Marciano himself didnt have a jab to work around,he relied on toughness more than refined skills to win.

joshua is a Lamborghini as to the volkswagons Louis fought in comparison.Maybe in comic book world you can make louis taller and heavier but in real life he was about 205 in his prime and was easily hit by counter over hand right hands which is also Joshuas best punch so good luck convincing anyone logical he is favored here,( though most on here will agree with you) ...lol

One of the biggest misnomers in sport is the term "boxing expert." Probably only second to "boxing historian" in meaninglessness.

I do think Eddie Futch ,Ray Arcel, etc are experts on boxing and therefore more qualifed to give an opinion than you. I know their credentials ,what are yours?
You hit the heavy bag with some power, but rather slowly,in a few seconds clip you posted ?
This doesn't mean you aren't entitled to your opinion, just that we don't attach much importance to it.
The underlined is just plain silly. Great jabbers from the past
Denver Ed Martin,Jim Corbett, Fred Fulton,Charley Weinert,Gene Tunney,Billy Wells,Tommy Loughran,Lee Ramage,Tommy Farr. That's just a few big boys of the top of my head.
    Lower weights Gans,Mandell,Leonard,Ross,Berg,Genaro,Labarba,Shade,Harvey,
    Overlin,Apostoli.etc

You find it inexplicable that I give more gravitas to Eddie Futch's knowledge than yours?

    Go figure:facepalm:

I would find it hard to beleive at age 43 you will find much faster hands than mine i guess you also missed my speed bag vid? nonetheless you troll ,that vid was taking AFTER a 2 hour power punch session with SIXTEEN oz.Gloves on.

My estimate you never actually been in a boxing gym to say such ignorant things and the other nonsense about what i OUTLINED which is boxing101 for the smart ones....again your commenrts mean nothing to me ive actually fought guys who fought wilder and say i hit PLENTY hard as well as Tyson taking notice...what credentials do you have beyond this site?????NONE.

I wasnt even aware anyone needed credentials to point out reasonable and logical points to that of others? lol

...so move along and leave the SANE talk to me where you are limited but not over shadowed by others on here..like the Dagos and dinos around here...lol..!

Foreman fought in two eras, skipped one.
    He adjusted wonderfully.
So would be the case with all the ATGs.

If he never came back, they'd say that Morrison would walk him down and KO him in 1.

Foreman would be far more vulnerable to getting knocked out in the 70's ,so your side on this is not exactly true. Foreman took a much better punch in the 90's.Make no mistake Morrison would be far more dangerous than Ron lyle, who if he fought foreman in 91/95 would not budge him beleive me.
