I never post in this forum because of all the stupidity of some fans here sometimes but damn. Jeff M, open your eyes bro.

How can you deny the fact that Floyd talks crap all the time but he NEVER backs them up? I mean, his whole family talks crap all the time.

Floyd disses the great fighters of our time but who has he faced thats great at his level??? He's ducked them, please dont get it twisted.

Pac fights people that we didn't even think he'd be able to handle 2-3years ago

You talk about race? Pac is Filipino and yet more Americans like him.

Im not a huge boxing fan but I know theres "Black" fighters on the ATG list

Floyd has great skill and no one is denying that, we want him to test his skill, bring out the best in him, and fight elite fighters in his division.

If Floyd beats PAC, i will give him full credit for it. (who would've thought PAC is a legit WW 2-3 years ago?)

"I also see a lot of heat put on Pacquiao from the same people that accuse others of the Mayweather hatreat... Why hate such a nice guy whom's only intention is to give the fans the best possible entertainment ? "

they hate Pacquiao because deep down they know he destroys their fraud. they know it and sense it. they fear that demonic smile. Hence they will still approve of fraud when he ducks out of the fight and signs to fight Matthew hatton. lol

What in the world is "his negative style of fighting"?

    The guy is technically brilliant.

Never said that I quit supporting him. I'm still a fan but I can look at it objectivly and acknowledge that it was a shitfest that was force fed down our throats, and markteded brilliantly.

There is nothing wrong with taking a tune up but don't try to convince me that it's something it's not and tell me that I'm a fool for prefering to actually get my money's worth and see you in a competitive fight. The fight was a joke, a complete and utter joke that had no chance of being competitive but there are some guys on here that so blindly love floyd that they want to count it as a great win. It was a tune up where he did what he was supposed to, don't make it out to more than it is.

Depends who you ask really. There are plenty of people around here that give Manny no credit for that win. There is also plenty of people that act like Floyd beat Godzilla that night.

Why should anyone care who hates who? I think Floyd is an incredible douche bag, but how does that effect anyone else's life? If someone loves Floyd, what do I care?
I love mashed potatos too, and I hate Hillshire Farms smoked sausage. What is it to anyone?

Im not saying there isnt people on here who believe so, im talking in the grand scheme of things. Mainstream media praises Pacs win over Oscar waay more than Floyds, Floyd not only was the smaller man, he we probably outmanned by 10 pounds that night, fought with gloves of Oscars choice, ring of Oscars choice. And Oscar was coming off victories and more relevant @ the time.
But b/c he didnt KO Oscar its not praised the same way is all im saying.

Floyd is always making excuses why he is great and then he doesn't fight anyone. Why wouldn't boxing fans be skeptical of someone who is just in boxing for his own bankaccount, like he himself says.

You will say, "he always picks on smaller guys!" You mean in 2 of his 40 pro fights?:think

EXACTLY! I have been telling my friends that. He only fought TWO and everyone after 130lbs was bigger than he was. Funny how haters are. I am just the fact based analyst. He only fought TWO and before then he won the 154lbs title. Wow, how they forget.

    About him being boring.

When he fought Baldomir, they said "Baldomir is too big and hits too hard...etc". He beats up Baldomir and then it is dubbed a "boring" fight because he did not take punishment? Wow, when Floyd is 60, he will still be able to speak clearly. We are not the ones taking the punishment, so many people should go to MMA to see mindless drumming of fist to head.

    I am with you.

    Thank You Jeff M.

But I really hope your using the term "BOXING FAN" very Loosely here in ESB.

But what is comes down to is this:

With the Talent, Speed, Quickness, Natuaral Ability that Floyd has....If he was Mexican, Puerto Rican, European or God Forbid...WHITE AMERICAN....And with Television Commercial Appeal, Charm and Good Looks...He'd Be the Next Best Thing Since SLICED BREAD!!!

Example: Oscar had 1/3 of the Talent Mayweather Has...But Amassed Millions based on Good Looks and Commercial Appeal....NOT HIS BOXING TALENT....Cuz' everytime he fought an ELITE LEVEL TALENT He lost!!!!!! And only beat up on the fighters everybody else beat up too....Vargas, Mayorga and The ALL TIME GREAT STEVE FORBES!!!

When you follow the game long enough, you automatically call out limited when you see it...Baldomir was definitely one of the worst paper champs at 147 in a long time ! That's just reality and people with common sense here or anywhere else were saying that Floyd would easily box circles around him !

Now if you want to use the argument where people thought Floyd could take punishment, it was against De La Hoya because he gave all the advantages away to Hoya and many thought Hoya may give PBF the best fight he's ever been in. I give credit to PBF for the Hoya win, it was a very good one, but certainly not the Baldomir bout !!
