Why don't you "boxing" fans just say it? You will always hate Floyd no matter

Pure bull**** !!!! Why is Tiger Woods so popular then ???? Why was Michael Jordan so popular then ???? GTFO with that bull**** !!!

If your brain can't logically comprehend why he's not yet on a Michael Jordan level , then your an idiot or you have a racist hidden agenda !!!

I'll always hate him because he's a *****, however if he beats Pacquiao he will get full credit from me.

    What exactly were you expecting?

PBF, a guy you 'supported all these years', took a fight after 18 months off against a smaller yet highly respected opponent. While the outcome was never probably never a question, PBF proved that he was still extremely sharp (offensively and defensively), and greatly 'outskilled' Marquez while showing his trademark movement and ring generalship.

Isn't that what you bought the fight for? Were you expecting a brawl? Why would the marketing of the fight bother you? You, a self claimed 'supporter' of PBF for years, are now suddenly upset at him for a fight that gave you EXACTLY what it was supposed to?

Seriously, re-read your own post. You are bitching about the 'competitiveness' of a fight you yourself acknowledge as a tune up fight.

One is the "safe" black guy. One is a cog in a monstrous corporate machine. Mayweather is hated because he is rich and NOT asking for acceptance from the establishment. He also slaps the discrepancy in the establishment's face.

This is the same scenario as what is going on in the US. Why would anyone even doubt if the POTUS is actually American? However people will pretend that this is a "rational" conclusion and actually give it air time. Why? Because of who controls the media. He isn't a "real" American.

I will let you decipher what "real" means. It is directly related to the hate directed towards Mayweather. He who controls the media, controls the debate. They make their own heroes and villains. Unfortunately, the villain often has a certain shade.

The problem is that there are too many nuthuggers on here that don't acknowledge it as a tune up. They try to make it look like Floyd beat King Kong that night. They say things like "he was the # 2 p4p" Who cares. If wlad was to beat manny right now would he get props for beating the # 1 p4p guy? No. My original point here is that just like there is people that are so blinded by their hatred for floyd that they will never give him his due, there are also plenty of fanboys who can't stand the thought of someone insulting their baby and not agreeing with everything that he does. Floyd could announce a rematch with hatton as his next fight and these guys would applaud it and put some twist on it and say something like "he went to manchester to do it to prove that he can beat him anywhere"

Buddy, acceptance by the media isn't a color thing ! It may be a very hypocritical thing brought on by the establishment but the fact is in this day and age, it will always be...whether you're black, white, asian, latino, arab, indian or what ever the **** and you don't play along the nice guy lines, then you're not gonna be the most loved in the media...and therefore within the people that are fed by that same media controlled by the establishment. Understand ?

The manner of the win is just as important as the win iteself. A complete domination leading to stoppage is more impressive than a close SD.

I think that the main reason that Manny gets more credit is because no one expected him to win. When you shock people, they remember that more than when you do what they expected you to.

It's really not an issue with Floyd. It's an issue with certain Floyd fans that post stuff like this:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4738101&postcount=1

It's also an issue with fans of other fighters trying to illegitimize other boxers' careers.

Come on man who didn't know it was a tune up? Hahaha.

It was also a common opponent with MP. An opponent that gave MP fits. So it did have some relevance beyond being just a tune up.

The same crowd that detracts from the comparison of JMM vs FMJ is quick to trumpet the comparison of the fights with RH and ODLH. Which one is it? Common opponents matter or not? If so, fine. If not, fine.

FMJ is "Fraud" and "Gayweather". MP fights the same dudes and becomes the next best thing since sliced bread.

Sorry, but I do not see the correlation between FMJ fans and *******s.

Yup and Packy and Floyd jr. Have pretty much the most haters right now. It is mostly Pac fans and Floyd fans going at it. I really do not like the steroid allegations though because it discredits hard work put in by a fighter who has not been proven guilty of anything. I love both fighters and had a slight liking for floyd till he bought into the steroid allegations as a reason he may duck Manny. If he does that I have lost all my respect for Floyd.
