Why don't you want to see a Vitali-Haye fight?

    It kinda does...
And this isn't the biggest fight that can be made. I think Chisora Haye would be even bigger, and both are coming off Klitschko losses so it makes more sense. Fact is that Haye barely deserved the crack he got against Wlad, let alone a direct shot at Vitali in his very next fight. Especially considering his performance once he finally talked his way into the fight.
No amount of cool **** he does out the ring changes that

Haye has a way of pumping up delusional people, like who honestly thinks Haye would do anything other than pot shot and back peddle with Vitali? He lost terribly against Wlad and barely scrapped a win over Valuev fighting that way....what reason does anyone have to think that Vitali would lose to that style?

Yeah. Make Haye earn a title fight by fighting a guy who's fought 18 pro fights.
Has lost 3 of his last 4 for a record of 15-3 His most recent win was in a 6 round fight against a guy with a 19-43 record.
Best wins against a very shot Danny Williams or Sam Sexton.
    Really?
Being a cruiser champ, and WBA heavy champ, and losing only at heavy to Wlad on points isn't enough. But ****, beat that 15-3 guy and it's ok.

Haye would spend months hyping the fight by bragging that he will KO Vitali and save Heavyweight boxing,he'd then spend the fight in reverse and make a sackfull of excuse's afterwards to cover his tracks.
He had his chance against Wlad but instead of fighting he stunk the joint out, then showed the world his pinky.
I'd rather not have to sit through 12 rounds of Vitali chasing Haye, and then listening to the full book of excuse's after.

He also got stopped against thompson at cruiser.. But to be fair to him went on to rule the division..

Problem is he is a heavy weight now and has hardly applied himself enough to warrant his attitude relating to what he deserves.. Take away all the bull**** and you have 5 fights at heavy weight. Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz, Harrison and Wlad is not what I call a stellar record nor does it warrant what David thinks he deserves. **** me, he behaves like Mayweather in that he thinks he can fight once a year against whom the **** he likes, problem is, Mayweather has worked himself into a position of greatness and David has never achieved **** all in comparison.

So no for me **** him, he should have to work his way into contention like any fighter coming off the back of an embarrassing loss should.

    This^^

I'm predicting a boring fight very similar to the wlad fight. Haye will always fight scared and try to outbox the klits at range, it just isn't in him to do what chisora tried to do to Vit. Delboy rarely gave Vit the space to get off his power shots, he was prepared to eat some shots to get inside and force vit onto back foot where for me he is much less effective. On the other hand Haye is not prepared to take punishment cos he knows his chin will not stand up to it and he is just so god damn gorgeous. He will give vitali the space required to tag and therefore knock him out.. then we shall have to listen to the deluded poser tell us how he lost because he didn't spend enough time looking at himself in the mirror.

Well for one, Haye is retired. 2nd he hasn't done **** to deserve a shot, and disgraced himself with his last performance with the whole world watching. Also, Vitali is on his way out already. Dude had his chance and messed up.

    Spot on. Completely agree.

Cheapshotting a fighter who just went twelve rounds at a press conference doesn't warrrant a chance at the title.

Haye needs to beat a top contender first...

Exactly, but in the eyes of David and his fans it is all that is needed to warrant the opportunity of earning millions for doing as little as possible for the sport of boxing.

Do something about the wordning in the poll. I understand you would love to be a G, but it seems to be written by a teenager.

Vitali has slowed down too much. I dont enjoy to see good fighters loose mainly because they have became old. (I did not want to see a rematch between Lewis and Vitali for the same reason.)
