Im no Mixed martial arts fan but the 52 different world titles for each weight and the promoters and tv companies are killing are sport. The best should fight the best and not cheery pick. Im old school and was lucky to fall in love with boxing at a time when it was on terrestrial tv and Benn,Eubanks,Watson and Carl Thompson would have fought each other on the same night then gone again on the sunday. Its no bad thing to progress and move forward. It will never happen and its paying fans that are conned.
I highly doubt what you're seeing his hate and anger. I've been told I was being angry by simply giving an opinion. I like MMA but nobody I speak to seems to think that. MMA fans are pretty freaking defensive about their sport.
Men's UFC has a gay element to it. It's basically wrestling with a fancy marketing wrapper. B Hop had it spot on worth his comments on it. Women's UFC is just like any other equivalent of a men's sport that involves strength and speed, a clearly inferior joke.
UFC is a joke, the fans are so cringe worthy they no nothing about the fight game, the fact that they think it is tougher than boxing is ridiculous.
I'm starting to like it. It's not that bad! yeah, some are wrestlers that try to box (kickboxing) and look terrible. But overall the fight is fast and entertaining to watch.
Because mma fans are usually very offensive and ignorant when they talk about boxing. They come to a boxing site and show no respect for the sport we love and come here to talk about. They usually start off like "Boxing sucks. UFC is way better." They never come correct. If that's the way they feel, then they should **** off to Sherdog or some other mma website and talk about how much they love the UFC. It would be like a Muslim walking into a Christian church and talking about what a ***** Jesus was and how Muhammad was clearly way better. Boy, you are in the wrong ****ing place to talk like that.
ufc is simply one brand, like wwe is one brand of wrestling. dana white actually runs ufc the exact same way vince mcmahon runs wwe btw.
People are missing my point, there should be one title at each weight or even Gold,Silver and Bronze and the best should fight the best not cherrypick fights like Mayweather when they are past there sell buy dates.
Agreed. As far as l'm concerned Mayweather has hurt the sport of boxing big time. I'm from the era of the 70's and 80's when Duran was fighting. Now he was a fighter. Back then the best fought the best. SRL - Duran, SRL - Hearns, Hagler - Hearns etc.
The same B-Hop that used to wear a gimp mask to the ring? The same B-Hop that used to do more hugging and clinching than the average MMA'er? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/photo_galleries/1571587.stm
Me too, it's grown on me the last few years and seeing both poster child's get embarrassed was simply amazing. Buy also shows how limited these so called "great" fighters are. I truly believe the Diaz bros are 2 of the baddest men that had ever been in all of combat sports. They ain't fake like Bruce lee, the "dragon" is literally on the seagull norris level, fake celebrity fighters who are, for all intent and purposes, come from a failed gymnastics background. Once Haymon has control of boxing and his PBC becomes the equivalent of the UFC, we will be in for the greatest sporting of our lives
