    Duran would rough up Floyd. Floyd cannot FIGHT!!!! that was proven by Maidana.Get him down in the trenches & he's done for. It would be ugly & brutal & Floyd would get what a lot of fans were begging to see Floyd get a good a$$ whuppin'
    But no way Floyd would ever fight Duran we all know that

    Duran`s performance v Palomino wa one of the finest of his career and he was amazing in Montreal too.

    I Agree that Floyd was the best at making adjustments however...

    There’s a difference in losing the early rounds to say Zab Judah versus Duran.

    In those early rounds Floyd would lose and use to collect data, Duran would HURT Floyd.


    The kind of pain Duran inflicts in his prime was the kind that altered his opponents. It took them out of their head and destroyed their game plan. Floyd was too clever a matchmaker to experience what someone like Duran brought into his fights.

    He wouldn't win a real one vs Duran.

    Picture all the issues he had with Castillo, but in with someone much more talented, much more skilled, with a much better workrate.

    Floyd has a zero through careful fight selection. If he fought the best he would have had losses. Duran fought and beat the best. Floyd would be too scared to fight Duran.

    Um, true. I was just looking at things Floyd would have had success with.
    Palomino to my knowledge was a top welterweight at the time.

    Yes George correct, Maidana applied pressure and made it close. Then there is Duran Pressure, speed, skill, tenacity..This is a fighter that for me stops Floyd

    Floyd never fought anyone as good as Duran and never beat anyone as good as Leonard.

    9 of his loses came when he was past 40 and going in to his 50s.the others were against guys like hagler, herns, lennerd, de Jesus and willferd binitez all hall of famers that were natural to their weight (except de Jesus) fighting a natural lightweight. You didn't beat anyone at their own game
