You wanna tell me that Joshua doesn’t use steroids? There is NO elite athlete who doesn’t.
I understand that the fans are mad, but promoters and other fighters (even GGG) should stay very quiet and be happy not they got caught

Hearn is 1000% correct. Mandatory prison sentence or Perma ban.

I talk to professional boxers/retired pros/ams all the time and it when a fighter is punchy it shakes me to my core.

Concussion specialist say getting your bell rung ONE time can permanently damage your brain. It's absolutely insane how much punishment some fighters take.

Long story short our brains are delicate and boxing is the hardest "sport" in the world. Way too brutal of a sport, PEDs are fine by me but not when the goal is to bash your opponent into unconsciousness

Some people just want to hate on Hearn through jealousy.

    He's spot on again.

This. 100% Agree. The amount of raw muscle mass you put on from PED's is unbelievable. I know boxing is a sport much based around technique etc but imagine if a hard power puncher could increase his force applied in the punches by 10%+. Difference between a normal knockout and a Coma.

Yes but every fighter is using them so why they are pissed off? I’m a huge Golovkin fan but I’m sure he is using at least 4-5 different things.
I think it’s shameful when an athlete gets caught and other athletes starts to throw s*** on them.

Good morning guys, this is what professional sport means. No one is clean.

If every boxer uses them why do only very few get caught?

Someone like Ortiz, with a small promotion team with no influence i can understand why it's easy to expose him.

But Canelo, probably the highest earner for the sport, why expose him?

He habitually talks out of both sides of his mouth. His father is a much more convincing bull**** artist than he is.

That's an assumption and you know what they say about assumptions...

I’m going to disagree with you on this one, SB- if you or me or anybody else really, really cared about the health of boxers we’d be calling for its ban. Boxers have been suffering from the ill effects of punches since boxing first began. SRR, Joe Louis, Meldrick Taylor, Ali, Toney etc. we could fill pages with the names, famous and unknown. I don’t know the stats - I don’t know if anybody does - but I’m not convinced that PEDs are allowing fighters to fight with greater intensity for longer periods.

    More faux grandstanding.

What to do Eddie is take a stand. Anyone who has failed a drug test should not fight under your promotion or on your cards.

    Nah, thought not.

I’ve agreed with most of your posts that I’ve read so far but disagree here. Maybe, maybe in the heavyweight division do we see guys using gear who are capable of inflicting more punishment that they’d be capable of without the gear- Holyfield vs Bowe comes to mind. I don’t think muscle mass means that much to boxing; if it did weightlifters and bodybuilders could transition to the sport with a major advantage. Punchers come in all forms: Wilder, Hearns, Julian Jackson we’re all rail thin. Mike Tyson and Edwin Valero were short, compact devastating punchers. SRL was and Duran could crack hard but had more moderate builds (when compared to the other extreme examples I listed). The amount of anabolic steroids needed to really increase strength will also increase your weight thereby causing you to go up another class or two. Also, if you’re taking gear you must lift weights for it to work. Punching the bags, sparring, etc on gear isn’t going to give the extra strength on your punches.

He wants to UNEVEN up the playing field to favor Joshua! Only Joshua could ingest PED’s.

Along with my other post, I’d say that one of the greatest danger to fighters, far exceeding PEDs, is gross mismatches. Clenelo vs Khan for example. Or young prospects with Olympic pedigrees being fed tomato cans to run up 22-0 20ko type records. Boxing is just a brutal, filthy sport that happens to be enthralling at its best.
