    Are you serious?:blood
Maidana obviously landed the harder punches. If anything, amateur rules would favor Floyd in this particular fight.

Are you serious??? You must not understand what "effective punches" means. Maidana threw a lot of hard sloppy punches but Floyds were clearly more effective. And I said I had a close with Floyd pulling ahead by 2 rounds...

I was actually looking for rounds to give Maidana. I was able to give him 2 round because he did land clean while doing the behind the head, and kidney punch thing. I have him a 3rd round that I shouldn't have. 9-3 Mayweather. If we throw out the rules of boxing we could call it 6-6. Maybe 7-5 Maidana

But Marquez stepping on Pac's foot and coming in buffed up was wrong though wasn't it?

Exactly, if you disregard the rules of boxing and count all the fouls as effective punching then yeah it was a draw or a Maidana win, lol

In Olympic scoring, power is not considered, just amount of scoring punches.
Mayweather couldn't wake a sleeping Marcos Maidana with the punches he scored with. Talk about ineffective in the context of this being a FIGHT...

And he called Tim Bradleys effort amateurish:patsch

Floyd must have one helluva chin or you have serious vision issues.

Professor has spoken. Certified iron. Most effective punches in the fight were temple shots.

I couldn't agree more. PBF landed the cleaner and harder shots. Maidana landed illegal shots.

    Why?

I'm not going to say Maidana was robbed. I scored it even but 115-113 either way is also fine. It was a close fight. If you want to give every close round to Mayweather... I guess I could see a fanboy making a case for 8 out of 12 rounds (116-112)... hell, why not just give Mayweather every round. 120-108 Mayweather. Anyway you want to score it... it was still a close fight, regardless of who you gave the rounds to.

Bottom line, about 8 of the rounds were close and 4 of the rounds were clearly Mayweather's (but even in these rounds it's not like Maidana didn't put forth a decent effort). So, like I said... if you wanna give your boy all of the close rounds... go ahead and score it 120-108, still closely contested rounds though.

It was close but Floyd won 7-5 on my scorecard, lots of rounds were close so it could have been wider for Floyd or it could be even a draw.

    Nope:nono
Even the great Ali got FK up with the old step on the foot trick:-(

Not saying it is right but when you face the greatest you will find ways, legal or not legal, to attempt to get the upper hand.

Floyd can clean out 147 to 154 IMO but Maidana will always give him problems....99 problems and Maidana is 1:D
