Kovalev is getting too much hype, Stevenson just starched the world champion in one round and no ones even mentioning him.

Who's he beat? He's limited and easy to hit, Clev by wide UD.

I don't think he necessarily is better than Lacy in every department. All he has done is beat Campillo who had a terrible camp and only arrived in America 4 days before the fight. Cleverly can take a punch well and out box him.

Maybe he thinks that a champion should fight the strongest possible contender....I know that the idea is a bit old school

What a load of rubbish. ****** only has one boxer with a belt in his stable which is Cleverly, he needs him to win and I believe us confident in him. He thinks he has another Calzaghe.

I keep reading that HBO are backing Kovalev but how do you know that's the case. For all we know they could well of said to both fighters 'you aren't a big enough name to headline against Hopkins / Pascal / Stevenson but fight each other & the winner will get the big money fights'.

I can't imagine HBO will have a problem with Cleverly winning. He obviously speaks the language, he's normally in entertaining fights & he's happy to fight in America as he doesn't sell tickets over here.

If I had to pick I'd go for Cleverly to win a points decision, though he'll probably have to go places he's never been to do it & that's not a very confident prediction

Never heard of him but if he is as good as what some people are saying then it's about time Clev stepped up....but is it a step up? In theory this Guy is a prospect...mind you so is Cleverly so should be a good fight.
