He took a risk when he fought Genaro Hernandez (no choice since Genaro was the champ), he took a risk when he fought Corrales. The fight vs Hatton was at 147 so it was a calculated risk. Zab Judah fought well but everyone knew the outcome of the fight before it even started. I agree on the De La Hoya fight: it was a risk indeed because it was at 154 against a very motivated De La Hoya. Mosley made his knee buckled but that was the highlight of the night for Mosley which confirmed the fact that it was not a real challenge, even on paper.
Cause' it was too risky. He probably (imo, almost certainly) would have thumped them both soundly, but why take even a small risk when he can make big bucks pummeling shopworn, 2nd tier fighters? Floyd has more pride in his wealth than in his craft.
