When Mayweather signed to fight Judah he was the Welterweight champion. He did not expect him to lose to Baldomir. Even still Mayweather wanted to fight Margarito in his place, but Margarito pulled out with an injury. Again learn the sports history

Baldomir was 10 years undefeated and the welterweight champ. Many thought Baldomir becuase of his size would pose trouble for Mayweather.

As evident by the fact that Merchant, Lampley and Steward all said he'd give Mayweather problems.

It was still his 5th weight class against a much bigger fighter, a guy who was still good enough to be one of the best fighters in the world. Stop reaching please.

Ricky Hatton beat a Luiz Collazo who many feel beat Berto and who gave Mosley trouble for the first half of their fight before he got hurt. Again, stop reaching. Hatton was P4P 8 and was bigger then Mayweather on the night.

Many think Marquez beat Pacquiao twice. So i fail to see how you can truly say he was the loser. Marquez was only a year or so removed from that fight. And as we saw against Mosley, it wasnt the size that Mayweather beat Marquez with it was his skill.

Mosley would beat, Berto, Clottey and Cotto if they rematched. Pacquiao would be the only welter other then Williams who'd beat Mosley, and Williams isnt really a welter.

Please explain to me how Berto or Cotto would be a tougher fight then Mosley who is bigger, stronger and faster then both.

I stopped reading after the bolded portion...Why are you trying to reinvent history when it was Mosley who turned him down on 2 occasions...I dont blame Mosley for turning him down in 99 but he has no excuse for him turning the fight in 06.

 

I remember back in early 09 saying how Mayweather shouldnt fight Mosley. How Mosley would be dominated. You know when everyone was saying Mayweather was ducking Shane.

Floyd is good for boxing...from a business standpoint. From a moral standpoint...not so sure. Think about it this way: if your son was training to be a boxer, would you want him to behave and carry on outside the ring like PBF does?

You have to be kidding me. If you didn't know, BOXING is called the SWEET SCIENCE. The scinence of HITTING WITHOUT GETTING HIT. What Floyd does is EXCACTLY THAT, ART. The mexican battles with Pac where awesome, no doubt. But what Floyd does is on another level. Hate it or love it, the guy is talented. On top of all the **** you have just written, Floyd does alot of charity work and donates part of his money to good causes. You people have to stick out of your heads that Floyd is a bad person. Have you ever seen him after a fight? He is always respectful to his fans, PPV buyers and opposing team. He likes to play "the bad guy" to attract fans and to put some psychological pressure on his opponent.

Atleast, he has the balls to say out loud that he fights for money. To me it takes balls to say that to everyone's faces. He looks for his and his family's safety first which is what every man/professional should do. Boxing is a business and Bob Arum, Roach and Pac play the game the same way.

One last thing, what would you do IF Floyd beats Pac with his purely defensive style?

 

Who the hells knows? But for discussions sake OK. Let's say it was faked. The entire American economy collapsed. Fights notoriously don't do well during those months. So he moved the fight. That is business savvy helping him to make a pragmatic decision.
