First, I am a fan of Pacs as well.

Second, I am 40 years old and I am not into this bling bling ****. However, if the kids today are into it who am I to judge. I was into a lot of things my parents did not understand but they never judged.

Finally, we have to get away from celebrity idolization and money worship. It is shallow and we can do better as a people.

He'll be an all time great even with the lack of a Pac fight. You can debate all you like whether that was a duck or 2 different promoters just unable to come to a deal to make it happen, IMO it could of been the best series of fights of all time but definitely the biggest grossing fights currently. He still beat everyone put in front of him even though IMO he cherry picked his time to fight many of the modern greats, but he still beat them all.

I hate the Wrestling Heel style persona Mayweather takes on, but it's also very smart because it works, it makes people hate him and tune in to hoping to watch him lose. the $$$$ come flying in every time, the opponents get built up just enough to maintain interest but... most people know deep down Mayweather will win.

The boxing purist in me loves Mayweather, probably the best in the game at getting the basics right, hit and don't get hit, but... He's so good it can be boring. In many fight his opponents are just never going to catch Mayweather then he only needs to land punches a few times to win the round. Still I much prefer and feel more entertained by brawls, tit for tat war fights or the all action style of Pacman.
