I have at least three reasons why Floyd is better.
    1. His skills in the ring clearly surpasses Mannys.
    2. He's beaten all his opponents and still remains undefeated.
    3. He did not gain his superstar status by winning catch weight fights.

Pac fought ONE catchweight fight so far...Cotto. And it was that fight that gave Pac superstar status? Was he a scrub before then?

The reality is, Pac got his star status after the first MAB fight.

The irony is, he made this thread to make fun of Floyd, not praise him. He just disguised it well, acting like a floyd fanatic.

Look, can't we stop this? We get it, there's Floyd fans and there's Pacquiao fans. Can't any of you just take the middle ground and admit they're both spectacular boxers and really hope to see the fight? There's too much fanboyism and valid points on this board are starting to shrink smaller and smaller because of it. It's childish.

  8. The technical term is Reverse Catchweight (Hatton, Marquez).

    :hi:

No, he's just ****in around. It should be obvious. I mean, trying to use Judah, Gatti, and Baldomir to prove Floyd's better?

    Marshmellow's baiting...nothing more.

  10. Who do you want me to use then? An old Barerra? An old Morales? A weight drained Hatton? A weight drained Cotto? A past his prime Clottey? :rofl

The name that really stands out of the Floyd's resume is Henry Bruseles. Floyd destroyed him mentally.

So what your saying is De la Hoyle vs Pac was not a catch weight? Which was the fight that gave him superstar status.

  15. Which Floyd dominated from start to finish hitting the great Oscar at will. :yep
