This list has nothing to do with PBF he wouldn't make my list but the other guys it leaves off shows how much credibility it lacks.
I'm not insinuating he should be on the list no ****ing way, I'm saying because asside from Pacquiao their all U.S. athletes if you can call race car drivers athletes.
Money May brings in double the average PPV revenues of Pac... Forbes loves money, so they should be riding his dick.
Where are the Indy drivers, Federer, or all of the football/soccer players? Even if it is "for America," then Tiger Woods still tops the list, Kobe and LeBron make it at the tops of the list, as does likely Michael Phelps or Shaun White. Bottom line: this list is a joke and makes no sense. Don't defend it, or you will showcase your lack of knowledge.
You think that's weird...just wait until the annual 'Top 10 Most Hated Athletes' list comes around. :nut Floyd would probably be number one on that list, followed by Ron Artest, then seven other random black athletes, and a token white athlete to make the list look less racist. :good
Tim Tebow Jeremy Lin :roflatsch two future bench warmers Manny Pacquiao :rofl ****** turned president aka the pinoy George Bush BTW where is Wlad and Vitali, easy lock for the top 2 spots
Wait for them to release their "annual" highest earning athletes. If Floyd fights twice, he'll be #1, without any corporate endorsements.
Does the list have the normative data they go by? As in merchandise endorsed, and sold, or anything quantitative? I'm not sure how they would put Pac up to number 4 because he's a likeable guy. Lin sold a huge amount of Jerseys, and even the Knick stock value rose up a signficant percentage during his streak. However, his overall influential value for the entire year... as in right now has to be questioned. Nascar's more popular than I thought.
Because it's in reality conducted as a popularity/likeability poll, about which they're actually completely transparent. (Forbes themselves says that respondents were asked which athletes they like and feel the most personal affinity toward and influence from...) They're just calling it "most influential", but it's really a bit of a weasel word.
Floyd is not on the list because he's an Ahole an there's nothing influential about that. If he's to be on the list it would be for proving free buffets, rooms, and limo rides for his fans when they buy his fights.
