understanding Mayweather's career and pattern, it's very simple to reduce.

    Mayweather-Pac II is a dud.
Pac messed the rematch up for everyone because no one who comprehends the sweet science of boxing believes that Manny has any chance of beating Mayweather.
Thus, the fight won't sell. The networks aren't enticed to spend the large sums of money Mayweather would require.
This is Pac and Roaches fault for putting on such a pitiful performance in the first fight.

Also, there are currently no megastars in the welterweight division. No one with a Oscar DeLa Hoya megastar status that would meet the above demands for generating 100s of millions of dollars in revenue.
After all, remember that Mayweather's real transition to boxing superstar followed his dethroning of ODLH and taking his seat at the top tier of boxing.

nah, the real reason why floyd will stay retired for now is because Manny is unretiring thus he needs to duck for now....

Exactly, Mayweather will fight anyone if he likes the money. If Manny hadn't stunk the joint out and showed everyone he isn't anywhere near Floyd's level, Floyd would've jumped at the rematch because he knows it would've sold itself. Manny not getting a rematch is his own fault.

WBC uses VADA now... so the green belts are off limits for him.

So mayweather's recent dissapearance has nothing to do with Antonio Margarito's recent comeback? Coincidence...i think NOT!!
