I was about to make this point. Even though Marquez did not beat Pac victims as well as Pac he definetly beat Pac imo. This would still be a total war imo, very close. I think the judges would favour Mayweather in a close fight but I'm starting to think Mayweather is scared. I think he has had that 0 too long.

Pac is also a much stronger, much better version of the guy who faced Marquez.

Fight is 50-50. If it was such a cakewalk for Floyd he would've had his cake already.

If we only uses Marquez as the barometer of Floyd-Pac match up is only good as vague as of how Mayweather could beat Pacquiao. Let us also take DLH (who some may immediately say far shot from who Floyd had fought) and Hatton (who is already not himself after the beating from, again, Floyd) as basis. I don't believe these two had not used the same power and skill against Pac same as when they fought Mayweather. Pacquiao's skills, work rate and punching power we saw from the last Juanma encounter is far poor from what he had shown today and I bet he will kill Maquez if ever they will face again. Pac has developed his craft from one dimensional into a complete fighter and still improving in his recent fights. From whatever analysis we may have is not as good as when they are already fighting in the ring. Even Mayweather knew he will be facing a fighter far different from his past opponents. That is why this fight will not happen.

one reason floyd will win is because he has the mental ability to figure out what he needs to do in any given moment and he has probably the best footwork in modern boxing!! recent boxers come into mannys range looking to land something but floyd willl come into his range looking for manny to throw something. manny is predictable and this suits floyd.

Really? Pacquiao fought Marquez in March of 2008....he fought De La Hoya in December 2008 which was arguably the best version of Pacquiao at 147lbs and his best performance. You're saying Pacquiao was a crap one dimensional fighter when he fought Marquez and basically transformed into a complete fighter in the span of 8 months rofl? I believe it was the fact that DLH was not even close to JMM's caliber at that point, actually I don't believe any of the people Pac has fought above 140lbs are as skilled as Marquez. Marquez would be 3 years older and 38 years old if they ever meet again that's a big reason why Marquez should stay away from another fight with Pacquiao, if Marquez was prime I'd love to see that fight at 140lbs.

I'm not sure if Manny is that predictable. His opponents say that they cannot see where his punches are coming from and that is why they have a hard time defending themselves. That is not a definition of someone who is predictable.

Floyd should beat Pac because he's better skilled and versatile. Never mind his strength or speed. Mosley has stated out of all the guys he's fought, Floyd was the most smartest of the bunch, his intellect was his key weapon for shutting down Mosley. Pac would have to step his defense up as well as out think Floyd to pull this off, and I don't see him doing this.

i dont know what it is with floyd. he knows how good he is but he just seems reluctant to get in the ring. i think he is more afraid of losing his 0 than he is of pacquiao. look at the way he reacted after getting hurt by shane. he IMMEDIATELY stepped up his class and won EVERY SINGLE ROUND from then on in. once hes in the ring hes fine, but its actually gettin the ****er in there thats the problem :nut

thats only because his last 4 opponents have been steaming in or covering up. clottey, cotto, hatton and marg all fought within pacquiaos range. you can see the punches coming if you stand a little further away from him, which is the way mayweather fights.
