    1. Froch wasnt an established champion....he didnt build a reign as champion and confidence by fighting a few average guys. Shows u big fights vs Yanks can be made!! Frank Warren could have learnt a few lessons from Hennessy, Shows you if you really want to fight the top guys in the US early in your career when it matters it can be done "are you listening JOE?"

    2. With that he goes over the pond to face the former UD Middleweight champ.

    3. that was the best Taylor weve seen for some time. He seems better suited to supermiddle...as Pavlik rematch showed.

    4. Nerves!!!- Froch despite his amazing confidence must of had self doubt..

" here i am fighting a TOP class fighter in his prime in his backyard"...do i belong here?"

    5. Hostile crowd....unlike Calzaghe Hatton...there were probably 50 brits in the crowd. I think the pro Calzaghe crowd in the Hopkins fight may have had an influence in the verdict going Joes way...every attack no matter how clumpsy it looked from Calzaghe, got a roar. Tayolrs cleaner work was goign to win points because it would get crowd reaction, unlike Hopkins cleaner work vs JOess

    6. Froch knew he would never win a decision in the US.

    7. How many fighters from europe do what Froch has done, I can only think of David Haye going to fight Mormeck in france that compares.

    8. I dont think Taylor Gassed, Froch hits like Pavlik....hes not a 1 punch guy....he accumilates and drives his shots through, I beleive he will be a very hard champ to beat.

    9. no Home TV backing ....that must have played on Frochs mind

"no one loves me"......but what character, talk about mental tuffness. Hopkins recentley said

    "FROCH....hes got balls for sure"

    10. Froch had a hand injury prior to the Taylor fight, he didnt have the luxury of pulling out. As he had a legit title he would have been stripped. I remember Calzaghe pulling out of a fight with Glenn Johnson 3 times for hand injuries,,,amazing when yr a WBO champ.

finally I think Froch deserves to go to nr:1 @ super middle. Kessler may prove to be the better fighter....but he has to prove it...u need to earn nr 1...not con people. Froch resume may even get more credibility if Pascal wins the WBC light Heavy title...which I expect he will.

What are you laughing at Brudda? That's one of the best Frochladite posts I've seen. I don't agree with some of it, but not bad for a Frochladite.

(Hey Hermit -- did I spell Frochladite correctly?)

I could have stomached it better if it were phrased, "Why I think......."

Carl had an amazing win against Jermain but he would be smart to avoid a rematch as he was behind on the cards and even wiser to button his mouth up calling Joe out of retirement. The trip to the canvas and getting rocked at the end of the 8th was not an accident
It was though one of the greatest comebacks & one of the best performances of a British fighter going abroad and defending /winning,but in my lifetime Buchanan 1st fight in Ishmael Lagunas backyard has to be the best

    Not a bad post.

Froch gets massive respect from me for defending against a dangerous top opponent in his own backyard for a mere $700k.

He's making the right career moveas, unlike someone else I could mention.
