Why Fury beats Wlad

Fury will be on the backfoot all night pumping the southpaw jab, using his superior length to force Wlad onto the front foot and take him right out of his comfort zone. Wlad isn't used to having to close the distance, you can't jab and grab a bigger stronger guy who's moving away from you, especially when you have a hard jab constantly in your face. Wlads gonna have to take a lot more risks than he's used to and rely much less on his own jab to win this fight.

People that are constantly referencing the Cunningham fight are reaching, Furys a very different fighter than the guy trying to put on a show in his first stateside appearance. A much bigger and slower guy trying to stand in the pocket and brawl with USS was a kamikaze move, Peter Fury has since turned him into a much more disciplined and safety first fighter. Fury wins by TKO around the 6th

I hope you're right. Will make a difference from all the guys that try to bullrush Wlad and get tied up by Dr Squidco. I still think Fury loses, but this way he will make a fight of it. If Fury tries to get rough with Wlad he's going to end up like Pulev or worse, because he doesn't have Pulev's power.

Yes, let him fight from Southpaw. He would only be fighting to his weakness not strenghth. Getting cute while throwing soft punches as a southpaw will float against a Chisora not against Wlad.

Pulevs power? pulev has a hardy stiff jab able to break down opponents, he has no right hand at all. absolutely none.

trust me fury hits harder, but also has more tools. he throws good bodyshots, hooks and uppercuts.

Fury's southpaw stance won't help him. Wlad has lots of experience against southpaws. He's fought Chagaev, Ibragimov, Thompson 2x, Byrd 2x, Pianeta, and Sanders.

That right jab is a weapon, Fury nearly ripped Chisoras face off with it. Chisora is ten times more durable than Wlad so I don't really see your point.

Chisora and Wlad don't fight anything alike, so I don't see YOUR point.

I didn't say he was gonna win because he fights southpaw. Orthodox/southpaw, doesn't really matter.

True, if anything Chisora has a lot more experience chasing the bigger guy around the ring. Wlad is gonna be lost in there. Manny Steward would have never let him take this fight.

I think Wlad has a better jab than Fury.

The only person who had a better jab than Wlad was Larry Holmes. I still don't understand how a boxing fan could be delusional enough to believe Fury who couldn't even outjab Cunningham will box circles around Wlad for 12 when Wlad has the better footwork, better jab, better ring IQ and when he can easily cut off the ring.

This is British code speak for running. Fury isn't going to outbox Wlad he has no chance to win on the scorecards. His only hope is a KO and he is feather fisted and has no Chin to handle what Wlad will be throwing back at him.

You don't beat either Klitschko by "boxing off the back foot" or "getting inside". It doesn't work. You have to go right at them and rough them up and Fury isn't capable of taking the return fire to implement that type of plan.
