Why Fury might actually beat Haye

I'm going to go against the grain and say I see a Fury win.

Haye will imo try to blast out Fury quick and I can see Fury getting floored but then coming back like his last fight to win possibly by stoppage. He's big, powerful with a longer reach. He's also pretty awkward.

Haye never looks good against fighters taller than him and seems to struggle quite a bit.

Peter Fury has done wonders with Tyson in the last 12 months and I see this being his biggest win.

 

Fury is a fighter. He's from a long line of fighters - some of the greatest bareknuckle fighters of all-time. Haye in comparison is a bullshitting posing plonker. That said, this fight is too soon for Fury imo.

 

Not my fault you bullshitting artists haven't got a penny to rub together between yourselves.

Remember, it was Fury who wanted this fight. Fury knows something, he can outbox Haye, set him up and knock him out, or he can simply get rough and over power Haye.

 

Either haye will blaze fury out in the first 4 or 5, or fury will wear down haye with his suspect stamina and end him late. Haye is clearly more skilled and more experienced, but fury has a hell of an engine and knows how to use his size to tire opponents. Plus, while a lot of people wave it off, fury genuinely has the heart of a fighter and will not stop coming until he's not breathing.

 

That tends to happen after they've retired, a la Hatton, Calzaghe and De La Hoya!

Although Jonny Tapia seemed to do OK whilst being an alcoholic drug addict, and according to Andre Agassi he managed to win a gold medal whilst off his head on crystal meth!

A better analogy might be that of Paul Merson, fell apart and ended up playing for Boro!
