Why Fury will beat Usyk

I had thought for some time (up till a year ago ) that this was a 50-50 proposition, but if I absolutely had to pick one, I would have gone with Fury.

I still feel it's a 50-50, but if I absolutely had to pick one, I would now go with Usyk.

 

Well, here is a long count given to Fury, which another ref could rule as a KO:

I'll spell it out for you:

RC believes that Fury is more likely to drop Usyk with a bodyshot (or win via consistently hurting him to the body) than Usyk is to knock Fury down for a 10 count.

 

And yet didn't drop or stop him over 24 rounds. Whereas a not too obese Andy Ruiz did so in 7 via 4 KD beatdown and quitjob.

Usyk's been dropped at least six times either officially or debatably by body shots, perhaps as many as eight times if you include a couple of known fringe cases. Is his body weak? No, he's never been KO'd. But relative to his iron chin, it's a significant chink in his armour.

Wlad and Wilder are possibly the two hardest single punchers of all time, Ngannou may be up there too. If Fury had a weak chin he'd have got KO'd multiple times.

Not a long count per se - I think Fury arose at 4 or 5, but from the time he hit the deck against NgAnnou til the the time it was waved back on, a full 23 seconds had elapsed - a time frame that was pretty much identical to the Wilder KD.

Usyk :

1. Olympic gold medalist
2. Multiple amateur championship gold medals
3. Undisputed cruiserweight champion
4. Unified heavyweight champion
5. Never been dropped
6. Disciplined and lives healthy

Fury :

1. No gold medals in any international amateur competitions
2. Never been an unified champion
3. Never been an undisputed champion
4. Been dropped multiple times
5. Overweight most of the time and had problem with drugs

+ SUM:
= Usyk beats Fury.

 

• Fury couldn't KO or drop Wlad.
• AJ dropped & KOed Wlad.
• Usyk beat AJ twice.

Hence, Usyk beats Fury.

Styles make fights and Fury beat Klitschko more convincingly than AJ did (not being dropped himself). Also again, don’t bother responding to NEETs, they are a troll and not here to discuss boxing.

 

Because Fury is also a flawed fighter who's been dropped by far lesser punchers and fighters than Usyk.

Joshua's also only been dropped by two men in his career, the huge punching Wlad (which he got up from and won) and Ruiz. Fury's been dropped four times in his career, twice by cruiserweights and once by a complete novice from MMA. His chin is clearly of a lesser calibre than Joshua's.

 

Fury couldn't land a proper show on Wlad. How can you say that Fury beat Klitschko more convincingly? The fight is on YouTube, go watch and show me one single power shot landed on Klitschko.
