    Ortiz
    29-2-1
1 title fight victory over Berto
    1 fight ever at welterweight
qualifies as good opponent for mayweather at 147

    than

    Canelo
    41-0-1
current WBC 154 pound champ with 6 title defenses
still not a good opponent for mayweather at 154

yes, your argument makes so much sense :-(

pacs actually a better fighter than people give him. hes not as easy to hit based on his athleticism and fast reflexes. pacs output will also give floyd problems. floyd could dodge a lot of his shots, but, a lot will land. floyds style is more defensive than offensive. he will throw less and be more defensive with pacquiao since pacs style relies on offense. i believed in 2009, that floyd beat him. but, now in 2012, floyd is a different fighter. hes more flat footed and with pac that would be a huge problem since pacs style is best suited when someone stands there and trades with him. floyd demonstrated in the cotto fight that his legs r totally gone. cotto who is not known for his speed was able to land on floyd more than any has in some time since castillo 1. just based on that, pac would have a much easier time with floyd than cotto did

the best win that canelo has is ryan rhodes. definatley a solid win but nowhere near as good as a rubio win(chavez jr.).

that is truely sad when your best win is less than fringe contender rubio and youre the wbc champ for almost two years.

no wonder suliaman is sick of their ****.

going on two years and all the wbc sww champ has to show for it is ryan rhodes?

    thats truly incredible.

actually, how the **** has this even HAPPENED?

Canelo should demand "Extra" testing for a fight against Mayweather.

I can sort of agree with your point, but then you mentioned Bradley.:rofl:rofl:rofl

WTF has he done to deserve a fight with mayweather? He lost to pac, has no following, and a shitty, boring style.

Boxing is a business after all, and everyone knows Floyd is after the fights that will make him the most money. Canelo vs Mayweather is the most lucrative fight to be made after Mayweather vs Pacquiao and that's a fact.

yeah he creamed the JR Welter lol

Oh I'm with you. I would love to see Canelo vs Mayweather.

I was just speaking in terms of who has earned it. You shouldnt go from fighting an old Mosley and Josesito Lopez to fighting the best fighter in the world.

Bradley has a solid resume, and as far as WW who else would be more deserving?

At the time....Ortiz deserved the shot,he beat the #3 WW in the world, imo that should get you a shot at #1 or #2

If Canelo beats the #3 JMW in the world I wouldn't complain, hell if he beat any top 10 JMW in the world I would shut up.

Cotto didn't have an easy time at all. He lost decisively. Pacquiao couldn't even pull out a convincing W against a 38 year old, blown up lightweight Marquez who Floyd toyed with for 12 rounds. You're free to "think" whatever you want, but mark my words, Floyd seriously ****s Pacquiao up if they ever step in a ring together.

You're a dirty ****ing immigrant with a third grade education who still lives with his mom. Why should anybody listen to anything you have to say?
