Why do people keep saying Lara is "on a different network"......does he have an exclusive multi fight deal with showtime? Lara fights on showtime on a fight ny fight by fight basis...he isn't exclusive ......he's been quoted as asking golovkin and his people to sit down and negotiate as well as saying the network isn't an issue

Even after all the bull**** about GGG saying Brook was too small and Yada yada.. he totally bypassed the 154 pound division to fight the WW and you're in here trying to defend it and nobody can criticize it? **** you man, All they had to do was approach Lara and Haymon with a contract similar to what Brook and Eubanks would have received and that would have been it. And if it didn't materialize then go for the WW.

well in all fairness....lara isnt worth what eubank and brook are in the uk...but thats a whole different issue

the problem is they never...once reached out to lara and haymon...

you have to be a complete idiot or a complete lowercase gee hugger to believe brook/vargas ggg/eubank just both fell apart and by some miracle they happened to work out a deal......

 

But the thing is, that these jokers think Lara wouldn't accept those terms or the money and would out price himself out of the fight somehow. I think Lara should get just as much as Brook and Eubanks imo and I think if they really wanted to pursue Lara all they had to do is make the offer and Lara would accept.

 

i think if they offered lara 1.5 or a little less hed take that fight...the problem is i dont think they can afford that for a non ppv fight...and i dont think they are interested in putting that on their own ppv....and i dont think hbo is interested in paying that to an opponent that lowercase might not look great against either......for all the talk of how lowercase is a big star and sells out arenas they cant really afford lara for an hbo fight

its funny though ive mentioned many times how they brought rosado up from 154 years ago for a defense and all i heared was "well gee wasnt a star then and wasnt well known"....it should actually be easier now for him to bring up a top 154 guy, that has been a major network headliner several times, for a fight now that hes a "bigger" star

Why has he never denied that he was the one who blocked the fight? What makes you think that CEJ never saw the contract not because of his father, but because he was never the target? And what is your source on this that's more reliable than Eubank's and Brook's own promoter?

I'm not defending GGG/Brook fight, I'd much rather if he just said "the hell with this, get me Andy Lee, Lara or Groves if Eubank fight isn't happening but you GGG haters need to get a grip.

 

Saying that this brook fight was the only option left is the only possible excusable excuse they could have...it's not true and they know it but it's what they'll stick to because it's the only thing that doesn't sound completely embarrassing about it

Eubank sr is the scapegoat so Hearn can make this fight ....Eubank sr is keeping his mouth shut because Hearn will take care of jr by paying him well for more low level domestic bums .....hearn, brook, sr and jr are all in on it

 

I actually think hearn brook and the Eubank's are all working together and in return hearn will do something for jr

Remember when Berto backed out of that Shane mosley fight so floyd could get him? And both were haymon guys? I'm sure haymon wrote him a nice little check and then even got him a floyd fight check to boot....

I think hearn will be paying jr well for more domestic stiffs
