Why Gomez for Canelo? There are many better fighters calling him out.

Canelo-Gomez is a PPV undercard fight, it may be headling Staples center, but it is the co-feature to Floyd-Ortiz. As PPV undercards go, it's not that bad of a fight. Canelo has only been relevant for a short period of time, I'd think by the spring we'll start getting the fights we'd like to see. Starting with his mando Vanes.

Shame this, I like Gomez a lot, Cotto sorted him, but he's got skills.

Canelo is way too big for him, suicide!

Vanes Martrosyan has to wait till the mandatory is out the way first right?

Mayweather-Ortiz and Alvarez-Gomez makes for a damn good PPV already, even though I heavily favor both Floyd and Saul to TCOB.

: that's officially been confirmed right? I figured with the Alvarez fight landing on September 17th hopefully HBO would find a way to show it, and I do remember Shaefer saying a couple months back that he was targeting Alvarez next bout to be on the Mayweather PPV

don't forget Erik Morales is on the undercard. man I know some fans who **** on everything Floyd does .. but as a PPV

Morales & Alvarez on the card is actually pretty decent. Granted they probably aren't fighting the greatest opposition, but it's still pretty good when compared to the usual rubbish seen on a pay per view.
