    I know why. Because they are an unknown outfit who already have a poor working relationship with other promotional outfits. That way Ward can stay in Jokeland and avoid savage punchers James Degale, Kovalev, and Rocky Fielding like the plague lolz.:patsch:dead:barf

    He was desperate to leave Goosen. He didn't trust them after Goosen screwed over his co-promoter and because of this was willing to stall his career and then take a huge risk by signing to Roc Nation the one outfit that seemed prepared to buy him out of his contract.

    Basically you had a desperate fighter looking to get out of his current deal and a desperate promoter looking to try and get a foot hold in the boxing business. Time will tell if this was wise or if Ward has shot himself in the foot again.
