Why has HBO avoided David Haye?

    He was on Showtime a couple times, not bad for a foreign fighter w/o much pedigree.

    I thougt HBO is ran by racists but I just ignored the thought.

    HBO is, shall we say, fairly selective these days. You haven't seen Pavlik on HBO since the Bhop fight and probably won't again until Abraham in November.

    Isn't it obvious? Haye was a nobody. He gained recognition by beating Mormeck and Enzo. He didn't become a big name in the sport until he beat Enzo and unified the CW titles. Ask youself: who the hell has Haye fought since he beat Enzo? Exactly. What opportunity has HBO had to showcase? Haye hasn't fought anyone!

    Now if he beats Wlad. That's a whole nother story. He'll be a superstar if he wins this one. And then you'll see him on HBO all the time.
