Why has Kessler always gotten more admiration on ESB than Froch?

They are both very entertaining to watch and most boxing fans like both of them.

    What difference does that make?
Ward was 20 when he went pro

    Froch P4P: 9
    Kessler P4P: around 40

    168 rating:
    2: Froch
    3: Kessler

Prediction of the winner Kessler vs Froch II:
    Froch a little over 60%
    Kessler a little under 40%

And I think the admiration is almost equal.

You get big in the UK you come to America. Its been that way for 100 years.

And Kessler is from Denmark, of course he has to travel for the big money.

If they had been American, they wouldnt have travelled either.

The only division where its literally better for you to travel outside America is the current heavyweight division.
Thats why you see plane loads of American heavyweights coming to Europe in the past 10 years.

And besides Ward is 28...its still very possible he'll travel.

How much had Kessler and Froch travelled by his age?

But like I said, he doesnt HAVE to travel at all.

He doesn't have to travel but you must admit its a massive bonus having your fights at home.

And age has nothing to do with it, people turn pro / win titles at different ages. Its a world title not an American title at the very least you would expect when challenging for the title to fight away from home.

Maybe just because he's been 'known' for longer. Froch was only really known in the UK right up until (and after, even) the Pascal fight.
Kessler's been on the radar for quite a few years now.
