can i just say that k-1 and kickboxing in general likes to keep away from mma. kickboxing is a sport of it's own, and like boxing it also calls ufc guys gay for hugging and holding.

How so?

They don’t really keep themselves that separate from MMA. Prior to starting their own MMA promotion K-1 had MMA fights on their kickboxing shows on numerous occasions.
