I saw it on Twitter so was looking for the insult rather than properly paying attention.

Also I admitted I got it wrong. :good

It's like when Larry asks the appropriate questions instead of giving these "black fighters" verbal blowjobs, their fans get all bent out of shape. "Oh ****, racist!" Larry has a job to do.

I didn't see that as an insult at all :huh

I wonder where THIS Floyd Mayweather went wrong that he turned out to be the ******* that he is now. He seemed like a nice guy back then :-(

That's one way of interpretating it, but I disagree. He was referring to the fact that Floyd wants to move his career on slowly, in my opinion.

at any rate, why are we pretending mayweather is anything other than a total ***** to whoever is interviewing him? It's not like Merchant is the only guy he ever went off on. Remember Mayweather/Marquez postfight with Kellerman?

But he never does that to Pavlik, DLH, Cotto, Pac, MArquez, Barrera, Morales, The Klits, etc.

But Hopkins, Forman, Jones, Floyd, Tyson, et tal, he speaks to them as if they are lowly slaves.

The pattern there is something you cant ignore.

I hope more black boxers start to demand HBO do something about ****ing Merchent. The time where people of his era are still in public is over.

Yeah, I skipped it right on the line and wasn't really focusing on the interview too much. I guess it's the way he said it that immediately seemed to make it ring that way. But I missed Floyd's moving on his career line.

Keller man did not go off on Floyd. Floyd was attacked by Mosley who just butted in and demanded a fight with Floyd, lol!!

    Bull****.

When Marco Antonio Barrera returned from his beatdown at the hands of Manny Pacquiao to fight Paulie Ayala, Merchant asked him a ton of questions about Manny in the post-fight interview. Likewise, after MAB fought Johnny Tapia, Merchant called him out on fighting the likes of Kelley and Tapia, asking him when he was going to fight a young, hungry fighter instead. MAB didn't go nuts, and neither did I. He was asking the right questions. He always does.

If I didn't know Merchant is such a love or hate guy I'd say it's scripted like Floyd/Bryan Kenny, but it's genuine.

that's what I'm saying. Floyd was a ***** to kellerman, too. Grabbed the mic from him, said the interview was finished, etc. Same story here.

    No he doesnt.

He will ask some tough questions of them, but he is always considerate and careful of how he asks. He speaks to black fighters as if they are beneath him, and it's obvious to anyone who doesnt have their head stuck up their ass.
