Why has Mayweather made no statement?

Uh... you can talk about negotiations without negotiating in public. Simple example:

    - are negotiations on going? yes they are...
    - has anything been finalized? no it hasn't...

That isn't true. I have the last negotiations and the matter that they fell apart over... RANDOM USADA testing. I have the Mosley fight which I found out that there were only a total of 4 blood tests and the last one happened at 18 days away from the fight. I have Mayweather clearly stating that to make a fight with him requires a fighter to submit to USADA testing.

Now having all of that information that is public knowledge available what does Manny do to "get" the fight? Say he will take the 14 day drug testing window. WTF?

I think people really don't understand that negotiations are OVER. Once Arum declared that he send the contract to Floyd and set a time line to accept, the negotiations were done whether both parties agreed on all terms or not. Talking now would violate nothing as negotiations have stopped.

Is that what is happening? No.

Arum is talking about signing the stipulations that he put forth. That is polar opposite of what you just presented. You do see that right?

No, Arum said that both side had agreed on all issues and that a proposal was sent Mayweather's way to accept.
Mayweather or he representative in turn could very easily have said it wasn't true, or that not all points were agreed to. This in no way would violate anything.

There;s suposed to be a gag order. The real question is why has Top Rank/Bob Arum been talking?

Truthfuly I don't know. What I know about gag orders is that you don't talk about the issue in public. Evenif there was no official order and the parties agreed not to talk about negeotions in public than by making statments Arum and Top Rank have not been negeoting in good faith.

At no time did they discuss the actual details of the negotiations. Saying there's a deadline isn't violating some gag order (which no one knows about to be honest). Nor is saying they came to an agreement.

This whole "Arum violated the gag order" is pretty weak anyway and moot in the grand scheme of things.

Obviously if Floyd wants the fight, it's in his lap.
