I wouldn't trust promoters at their word if a fight sold out or not.

Pac v DLH has one of the biggest gates ever yet insiders know that it was a huge bust as all the scalpers took a beating (this was two months after the economy collapsed).

And it will still generate more money than any other fight this year.

    You watch and see.
The total ppv for Mayweather-guerrero will not be made public.
Just like in Pac-Bradley, the media will only be able to speculate that it did poorly!

This here fight will do atrocious. NO CANELO to lure those on the fence to buy! :deal

I said this when the fight was made. The best thing that could happen is Floyd - Guerrero doesn't sell out so Floyd is forced to fight the fights fan want to see or risk losing out on all the monetary incentives in his Showtime contract.

I think this will be an unexciting fight because Guerrero will maul, clinch, lean on mayweather on the ropes to have any chance of winning. That's exactly what he'll do.

he has been fighting the fights fans want to see plus Floyd gets paid no matter what and the gate is huge for this fight sell out or no sell out

The fact that it wasn't sold out so close to the fight speaks volumes. I'm a Floyd fan and this fight only interests me because I am a boxing fan. But I don't think it's PPV material. Rigo v Donaire was more interesting to me than this fight.

I seriously doubt 200mil(?) is guaranteed. Nobody, in their right mind, would take on that big of a risk without revenue thresholds especially a network like Showtime.
