The pressure was the reason why it sold 2.2 million PPVs.

 

The difference between Manny and Floyd is that Floyd won a title at the weight and continued to hold on to it so fans expected him to campaign at 154 and defend the championship.

Manny won the title against Margarito (people questioned why Antonio was getting a title shot after being inactive and not really accomplishing much since losing to Shane) at a catch weight no less. Immediately after winning the 154 title, Manny said that he had no intention of staying and defending in that division.
