The S6 guys have been busy with one another for the most part.

Bute is doing what most boxers in his position do. Fighting where they make the most money. You seemto be fishing for other to just dog Bute, based on the tone and your comments.

Bute is ... 31-32 years old!

So for his entire career the Super Six has been going on? :think

He hasn't been a world champ for 31-32 years now has he. Other then just basically disagreeing, you haven't really provided any type of rebuttel to anyone. Refute Pasky's post if you think it is incorrect. At least he put some effort into making an explanation of his potision.

Fact of the matter is, the S6 has kept some of the bigger names away. Not to mention, Bute's a draw at home. And just one of several belt holders at 168. Obviously if one wanted:
    1. a payday fight w/ Bute
    2. a title shot

they would have tp go to hia home town, or fork over a purse that matches what he can get at home.

So - one can only meet good opposition AFTER having the belt?

Ward met Kessler while he did not have any belt... Mundine met Kessler while he did not have any belt... and so on...

    That is a bad excuse.

Fact is that Bute now is 31-32 years old... and still has not met anyone. Why hasn't he been able to do so for his entire career? Is it Bute... or everyone else?

    _______

Secondly... why would they HAVE TO go to Bute hometown? Kessler is a bigger draw in Denmark than Bute is in Canada. Kessler is not only the biggst boxer in Denmark/Scandinavia. He is the SPORTS PERSON of the YEAR. Greater than Caroline Wozniacki, the National team in soccer and so on and on. Doesn't get much bigger than that in terms of being an major draw.

Still he hs fought abroad many times - or made deals to have them come to Denmark (e.g. Beyer in a unification).

Bute has not been able to do any of these... neitherhave thm come or get paid to go anywhere....why?

Again... no.. Bute does NOT have to just stay at home. Unless he is happy to never have a meaningful fight his entire career.

I don't think Bute is a glass jaw. I have a lot of respect for Bute's skills an abilities.

But having said that... he has done nothing so far and is 31-32 years old.... getting a paper belt from some random guy no-one has ever heard of and defending it x times against second or third tier guys over and over... is so far from what Bute's abilities promises. It is extreme under-achievement.

No, I did not say one must have a belt to meet good op. Never said that and nothing even suggests that's what I meant. Sadly, you've already made up your mind on Bute.

You can post all you want about other boxers and their travels, but this is about Bute. And you really aren't saying anything relevent.

I'm aware of Kessler beinbg a draw. And? As stated, so is Bute in his hometown. Tell us all why Kessler declined to fight him. Or are you even going to refute Pasky's post or just oretend it doesn't exist?:huh

I asked why hasn't Bute met anyon at 31-32 years old. And you replied "He hasn't been a world champ for 31-32 years now has he. "

Doesn't that sound like you are saying that he doesnt have to meet anyone if he is not champion?

Pasky? Nevr heard of him and couldn't be bothered looking for the post you talk about.

The bottom line is: Bute at 31-32 years old and hasn't met ANYONE. He han't been able to make any kind of fight happen since turning pro. Only random fights against lower ranked opponents. That is fact.. all the rest are just different variations of excuses.

No, that is not what I was saying. That's an example of you taking a post ands twisting it to mean what you want it to mean. Get this. Most boxers do not get the luxury of being able to pick and choose opponents. That happens once they are established in a few ways:
    1. being a draw at home
    2. being a PPV seller
    3. Being a popular champ

You can only fight the guys willing to fight you.

Bull****. You saw it and ignored it. Post 26 in this thread. He gives a good account and shows he at least did some homework.
