why hasn't Bute/Pascal happened yet, or being talked about?

From what I've read, the plan was for Bute to fight Pascal if Pascal had beaten Froch (won a belt). The same plan applies, but with the proviso that if Bute remains unbeaten until a unification fight, and loses said unification fight, he'll fight Pascal in his next fight...:think...not sure whether that plan is that realistic, though...would Pascal want to fight Bute just after a Bute loss??

 

I dont think this fight will happen soon because it could be made in a couple of years and still be a big fight in Montreal.

GYM doesn't want Jean Pascal near Bute as of yet....

 

Bute loss or not, that fight is a locally mega money fight, therefore a loss wouldn't matter in that case.

 

I was thinking in terms of Pascal/GYM being too proud to fight Bute after a loss.

 

It would be a really really really huge fight in Montreal, bigger than anything that has been done. The more we wait, the bigger it will be. If Pascal could pick a belt, it would be awesome. He's well ranked in the WBO, even if the belt is meaningless it would be good to bring it back in America, and unify it.

 

I think the fight may not have been organised thus so far, on account of the Interbox management of Bute.

= Bute is fighting C-class chumps at present.

He stepped up to B-class against Andrade and got smashed.

I'd say Pascal is B-class and therefore Waaaaaaay to dangerous for the lovechild of the referee.
