Add to it that a wall of experts is predicting Fury for that fight. The odds will favor Fury. The whole world is expecting Fury to win this.

I don't care about seeing Fury get a shot at undisputed anymore because someday an actual champ will get a shot to do that, and it'll be better for the sport to have somebody who cares enough to do that.
Could be Usyk if Fury waits around so long that he's forced to retire, probably not.

Regardless Fury beat Wlad then Wilder to prove his worth as the undisputed an imaginary title. AJ & Usyk are sideshows.

It doesn’t mean anything. Before the first Usyk-Joshua fight, 19 out of the 22 pundits of Ring Magazine predicted a Joshua win, as well as literally every active or ex fighter. People nowadays like to downplay this, stating how Joshua is this and that ****. But it’s a blatant cheapening of what Usyk has done. His defeating Joshua twice against all odds, predictions and whatever is HUGE.

Back then, EVERYBODY waited for Usyk to not only be defeated but knocked out by Joshua. EVERYBODY. Everybody was predicting this, and talked about how Joshua is too big, too strong, and how Usyk will be out of his depth in the heavies as he is just a pumped up CE and blah blah blah. It was all the rage everywhere. Go up to YouTube or Reddit or any forums and you’ll see what discussions were going on at the time. I just laugh at anyone who now claims “oh, I always knew he would beat Joshua”. Blatant lie, I clearly remember what a small minority we were in the Usyk camp. It’s no different this time. Usyk is in the proving the world wrong business. He would batter Fury just like he battered Joshua. Fury also knows this, that’s why he still hasn’t signed and quite likely he will never sign that contract.

 

Really. After a fat beluga like Ruiz KOed him and then went the distance against him, people were thinking Joshua was the man to rule the division ? Ok. Joshua - Usyk was a tight fight according to judges and another very sad moment for Joshua career. Maybe more a fail from Joshua more than a success from Usyk. And what does Tyson Fury shares in common with bum Joshua ? Nothing.

At the end of that cool story, the real losers are those excitingly anticipating this fight and paying to watch it.

Fury is all about talking it up but only taking the minimal of risks. You can see that with his fights against Chisora, Whyte, Wilder, Wallin and Tom Schwartz.

In any case, Fury's resume is utter shite. Only 6 title bouts in 34 fights and over 14 years as a professional. Three against a limited one-trick pony, one against a chinny has-been plodder and one against an almost 40 fringe contender who couldn't even hurt him ten years ago let alone now. Absolute piling **** of a resume. At the VERY LEAST Fury should clean the division out. Where are his fights against the likes of Joshua, Ruiz, Joyce, Parker, Hrgovic, Sanchez, Ortiz and most importantly, Usyk? Joshua ducking him? Are you having a laugh? Joshua was chasing him around for years between 2018 and 2021 - Fury ducked him left, right and centre. "Won all his belts on away soil" - because nigh on everyone who fought Wlad or Wilder had to go to their backyard. Fury didn't WANT to go there - he just had to. In 2015, he was what, already 24 fights in his career with nothing to show for it - his best win was an already 4 losses Chisora back then. Then again, against Wilder, he had no choice but to go to the US as he was rebuilding his career after his PED ban and couldn't cherry-pick his way to fights.

A WBC title holder, fighting a voluntary title defence against an almost 40, 12 losses guy whom he already beat twice and who had no right to get a title fight at this point in his career? Give me a break. Fury lying through his teeth, claiming Chisora was the best available opponent, playing on the ignorance of his casual fans again. WBC title defences can be against any of the top 15 ranked fighters. Ruiz, Sanchez, Makhmudov, Bakole, Kossobutskiy, Parker, Ortiz and Hunter were all available and higher ranked than Chisora at the time. Yet, this bald oaf had the audacity to lie about Chisora being the best available opponent.

 

You see, this is a perfect representation of why many boxing fans have an attitude problem. That "fat beluga" is a top HW, a former unified world champion who has probably the fastest hands in the division. Also, did you just start watching boxing three years ago? Styles make fights and in HW everybody has at least a puncher's chance against the other guy. Only casuals put so much emphasis on a loss like that. It's ridiculous that you are trying to imply it's something extraordinary or lame that a top fighter gets beat by another top fighter. Styles make fights and the more you fight, the more likely you meet some guy who has your number. Ken Norton wasn't a world-beater but he arguably beat Ali in all three of their fights. Joshua got eventually beat because he never ducked anyone - he has the deepest resume of any active HWs by far. I don't give a damn what naysayers say about him, the man didn't mess around and fought any top opponent he could. That's commendable and if it results in some Ls - it is what it is. Real boxing fans respect fighters taking risks and seeking out tough fights much more than cherry-picking duck artists with an artificial 0-loss resume. Fury is the HW version of Mayweather - the only difference is, he takes even fewer risks and has much fewer fights.
